About Us:
Tradeshi Ltd. is a leading partner of Alibaba.com in Bangladesh, providing businesses with access to the Global Gold Supplier (GGS) program. We are seeking an experienced and results-drivenNew Business Development Manager to lead our B2B sales efforts and drive growth in the dynamic
export-driven market of Bangladesh, particularly within the apparel and garments sector. This role requires a proactive leader with existing industry contacts, a growth mindset, and the ability to hit the ground running.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership and Management
- Manage and lead a large team of Business Development Executives across multiple locations (Dhaka and Chittagong).
- Train, mentor, and develop team members to achieve their potential and exceed sales targets.
- Foster a high-performance culture with a strong focus on accountability and growth mindset.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide actionable feedback for improvement.
B2B Sales and Target Achievement
5. Leverage existing industry contacts, particularly in the apparel and garments sector, to drive client acquisition.
6. Develop and execute strategies to achieve and exceed new business acquisition targets in the B2B market.
7. Design and implement innovative business acquisition campaigns tailored to export-oriented industries.
8. Actively liaise with Alibaba.com’s advertising team in Hangzhou, China, to coordinate targeted marketing and promotional
activities.Client Acquisition and Relationship Building
9. Build strong relationships with key stakeholders in export-driven industries, particularly in the apparel and garments sector.10. Establish and nurture partnerships with clients to ensure long-term collaboration and success.
Technology and MIS Integration
11. Utilize technology, data analytics, and MIS tools to track team performance, optimize campaigns, and provide actionable insights.
12. Leverage technology and adtech expertise to refine acquisition strategies and enhance decision-making.Travel and Field Supervision
13. Travel to Chittagong every 6-8 weeks to meet with the local team, evaluate performance, and identify opportunities for regionalgrowth.
14. Establish and maintain relationships with local business partners and stakeholders to expand market reach.
Innovation and Initiative
15. Take initiative in designing and implementing new business development initiatives that address market challenges.
16. Develop innovative approaches to expand the reach of Alibaba.com services and enhance client satisfaction.Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in sales (Preferably B2B), business development, or team management.
- Existing contacts and networks in the apparel and garments sector are highly preferred.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to mentor and inspire team members.
- A growth mindset with the ability to lead by example and take initiative.
- Experience with technology, MIS, and/or adtech tools is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in English and Bengali.
- Ability to travel regularly between Dhaka and Chittagong.
